The Property

Chalet Northern Lights 42 is a luxury family chalet in Whistler, suitable for between 8 and 12 guests. Benefitting from a great location close to the slopes and not too far from the village, the chalet nevertheless offers a quieter mountain retreat in a contemporary design.

You enter Chalet Northern Lights 42 on the top floor of the building, where, by heading down a level, will bring you into the chalet's main living areas. The lounge/dining space has double-height ceilings with expansive windows that bathe the space with natural light. You can relax on sumptuous sofas in front of the warming fireplace embedded in a feature stone wall, where a hidden projector and screen can be brought out to watch your favourite movie or TV show. Enjoy taking your meals around the stylish live edge dining table as you gaze out the windows over the snow-covered firs. A large modern kitchen with distinguished wood cabinets and a long central island provides additional dining space as well as ample room to create some delicious evening delicacies.

Head outside onto the sheltered decking with a seating area. You will also find a spacious 8-seater hot tub to help you unwind and recover from an intense day on the slopes of this incredible ski resort. Sitting on this decking amongst the snow-covered trees will help you reach a feeling of true serenity and new appreciation for this peaceful mountain environment.

There are four bedrooms across Chalet Northern Lights 42, sleeping up to 12 guests in total. The master bedroom is located on the top floor of the chalet as you enter the property, with this spacious bedroom coming with an en-suite. There is another comfortable double bedroom with en-suite, while the final two bedrooms act as ideal family suites. The first is a double bedroom with additional double bed and overhead bunk, sleeping 5 in total. The second has a double bed with overhead bunk, sleeping three in total. Both are complete with en-suites.

While the main Whistler Village itself is entirely pedestrianised, you can reach the chalet by car, with a garage providing space for 2 cars and further space for 2 additional cars on the chalet's driveway. Chalet Northern Lights 42 also has room for ski storage with heated boot and glove warmers, a walk-in closet in the entryway for any additional gear you may have and laundry facilities available to use.

The prices are based on exclusive use of the property for up to 12 adults and 2 children and is offered on a self-catered basis only. End of stay cleaning is a mandatory service and charged at a supplement of CA$500 plus local applicable tax. Prices do not include taxes of 16%, which will be calculated on top of the advertised rates.
