The Property

Cypress Sky Retreat is a luxury chalet in Whistler with stylish contemporary furnishings and an abundance of indoor and outdoor living spaces. The exteriors use a combination of matte blacks and cypress wood (hence the name) to create a chic modern build.

The ground level of Cypress Sky Retreat is home to a spacious open-plan living area. The lounge has a double-height ceiling and towering windows that fill the space with light and look out into the forest behind. A plush sectional sofa and comfortable bean bags provide places to relax beside the extraordinary stone fireplace. The dining area has a lengthy live edge wooden table with room for 12 guests, while additional seating space can be found at the giant kitchen island. The sleek kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you could need to concoct a delicious evening meal.

Upstairs there is a secondary lounge to relax in front of another stone fireplace along with a bar area. This commodious space has a high, vaulted ceiling and expansive windows that provide charming mountain views.

For those guests looking to enjoy the fresh mountain air, there are a number of outdoor spaces at Cypress Sky Retreat to relax in. Downstairs, a covered patio extends right out into the forest with hanging chairs and stylish outdoor seating, to enjoy the serenity of nature while warming yourselves from one of the heaters or around the firepit. There is even a BBQ here if you fancy a change from cooking in the kitchen. On the upper level, the secondary lounge opens out onto an expansive terrace. There is ample space for alfresco dining here with a large dining table, the perfect spot to enjoy your dinner as the days start getting longer towards the end of winter. More comfortable sofas and relaxing loungers are great spots to catch the afternoon sunshine on return from skiing while you drink in glorious views of the snowy mountain peaks.

Cypress Sky Retreat is a fantastic chalet for recovering your tired muscles on return from a busy day in the mountains. The chalet boasts two separate hot tubs for those looking to experience a revitalising soak. One of these is located in a private fenced in yard just a few steps from the downstairs patio, while the second is found on a patio just off the master bedroom and provides splendid mountain views. The chalet also has a sauna, located in the bathroom of the master bedroom.

There are five bedrooms to Cypress Sky Retreat, none more impressive than the sumptuous master suite. This sanctuary of peace is situated on the top floor of the chalet and has a warming fireplace beside the bed. The deluxe en-suite bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, relaxing soaker bathtub and soothing sauna. The upper floor also hosts a family bedroom and contains two double beds with overhead single bunks suitable for children as well as a trundle bed if needed and an en-suite bathroom. Downstairs has the other three double bedrooms of the chalet with two shower rooms and direct patio access from one.

When staying at Cypress Sky Retreat, guests will have the use of laundry facilities and a ski room with boot heaters for storage of your mountain equipment. There is a garage for parking, with extra spaces available on the chalet's driveway.

The prices are based on exclusive use of the property for up to 14 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis only. End of stay cleaning is a mandatory service and charged at a supplement of CA$780 plus local applicable tax. Prices do not include taxes of 16%, which will be calculated on top of the advertised rates.
