Totem Chalet is a gorgeous log cabin home for 6 people set just outside the village of Whistler. Perfect for a family or close-knit group of friends, this luxury chalet provides a peaceful location with fantastic facilities and stunning views.

Totem Chalet takes its name from the hand carved wooden totem pole that the chalet's four floors are built around. This beautiful creation sets the scene for the traditional log cabin style that features throughout the chalet, a rarity for Whistler with its more modern luxury chalets. The main open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is surrounded by giant, intersecting log walls, with the stylish lounge featuring an epic stone fireplace that rises up towards a double-height vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, taking up one corner of the space. The dining table and additional seating can be found staged in front of a wall of large picture windows that look out towards a magical wintery scene of snowy forests and mountains. Exit outside onto a vast, sheltered, wraparound balcony where you can appreciate the views over Whistler Golf Course and the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

Below this main floor, you will find another substantial balcony, where you can shelter from the cold in Totem Chalet's outdoor hot tub. Protected from the elements by stone walls and pillars, as well as the overhanging floor above, this hot tub provides an inviting spot for relaxation at the end of a long ski day. On the chalet's ground floor, you will find a private gym for any guests who enjoy a workout.

Found on the same floor as the hot tub, Totem Chalet features a stately snooker and media room. Unlike the more traditional chalet styling of the other living areas, this room brings to mind venerated University libraries and vintage cigar lounges with its fine wood panelling, green lampshades and carpet, and plush leather armchairs. It is also a fine spot for an evening of entertainment, whether playing a friendly game of snooker, gathered around a film on the TV or enjoying a family game night.

Totem Chalet is suitable for 6 guests in total, with the chalet holding three double bedrooms. The top floor of the chalet is dedicated entirely to the impressive Master suite. A spacious double bedroom with a feature stone fireplace, seating area and large office space that leads out onto a private observation deck with the best views in the chalet. The Master en-suite bathroom is equally grand, with a funky walk-in stone shower and cosy bathtub. Two more double bedrooms are found on the lower floors, one with a stylish four-poster bed and the other which can be taken as a twin room. Each feature an en-suite in addition to their own unique and charming character.

Guests staying at Totem Chalet will have access to both garage and outdoor parking. There are laundry facilities for use inside the chalet and also a ski room with boot warmers.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 6 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with complimentary ski shuttle service (2 x one-way trips per day between 8am & 8pm). End of stay cleaning is a mandatory service and charged at a supplement of CA$650 plus 5% tax. Prices do not include taxes of 16%, which will be calculated on top of the advertised rates.
