The Property
Chalet Big Bear, located in Argentière, enjoys spectacular South-West exposure, ensuring lots of sunshine. To your right, guests can also enjoy the lovely view of the Aiguilles Rouges mountain range. The chalet sleeps up to 11 guests across 5 bedrooms.
The first floor of the chalet is where you will find the kitchen and main living area. The room has ceiling to floor windows with panoramic views across Mont Blanc and les Grands Montets ski resort and glacier. The lounge seating is cosy and comfortable and centres around the double sided fireplace. The fire also backs onto a separate study. The family dining area offers a great place for everyone to dine together and leads on to the modern kitchen which is fully equipped and also features a breakfast bar area. Also on this floor, is the TV Room where kids can escape to for a film night or for a game or two.
Located on the ground floor of the chalet is the sauna with adjoining shower room and separate guest toilet. From here, you also access to the large outdoor terrace which has stunning views of the surrounding peaks and a sunken Jacuzzi for all to enjoy.
The master bedroom is located on the top floor of the chalet and has a walk-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and balcony. On the ground floor of the chalet you will find a further 4 en-suite bedrooms. All of these are double's and one has a single mezzanine bed to sleep an additional guest.
There is also a boot room with ski storage and laundry room for ease and convenience.
Zenith 1 and Zenith 2, the sister chalets to Chalet Big Bear can be found directly next door and can be rented together to cater for groups between 35-40.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a fully catered basis, with in-resort driver service provided.
Location
Chalet Big Bear is ideally located in the heart of the old village of Argentière. To reach the village centre of Argentière is a few minutes on foot. There is a free bus service, however if guests prefer to make their way to les Grands Montets ski area on foot, they can walk through the back of Argentière and onto the cross-country ski track to join the home-piste. This takes approximately 10-15 mins.

In addition to fine dining, in-resort driver service and daily housekeeping, the concierge team can arrange additional extras to make your stay that bit more special. For example this includes childcare, lift passes, ski lessons, equipment hire, restaurant bookings and more. The chalet also has entertainment for children on request, including a DVD player, board games and toboggans. The team can also arrange a special children's menu with separate dining times if this is preferred.
