The Property

Nestled in the heart of Argentière, Le Marti boasts space and comfort for a group of friends, family or work colleagues. Formerly a village school, it's now a large Savoyard town house on 3 levels spanning 320m², renovated and redecorated with a traditional town house feel. Across each of its 7 bedrooms, there is space to sleep up to 16 guests at one time.

On the chalet's ground floor, there is an open-plan living room with a U-shaped sofa, arranged and designed for social discussions. The room is filled with light from the large gridded windows and is contemporary in style. Separating the living room from the dining area and kitchen is a central feature fireplace, keeping the room toasty during the winter months.

The dining room is full of modern charm, with the black, white and wood theme complementing the open space. Whilst the dining table provides ample room to accommodate large groups at one time, the kitchen feels very much like a show kitchen, allowing guests to sit back and watch their professional chef, or designated cook, prepare the finest delights for dinner. Situated just behind the table is a stylish bar area, for guests to create their own cocktails.

Le Marti is accessed via a courtyard, which has a lovely terrace with outdoor furniture, feeling secluded and private from its surroundings. An outdoor hot tub is also found here, perfect for a spot of post-ski relaxation in privacy. Heading down some steps from here takes you to the ski room for storing any equipment, as well as the relaxation alcove with a sauna, somewhere to rest any achy muscles and relax after a day on the slopes.

Across the upper two floors of the chalet, there are 7 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 guests. Decorated with elegance and comfort in mind, six bedrooms can be arranged as either double or twin configurations, providing flexibility for a variety of groups. The other bedroom is a fixed double. For an additional two guests, the TV room on the first floor can be converted into a double bedroom. Two of the main bedrooms do also have a mezzanine bed in each, however these have restricted room and a steep ladder for access.

For added comfort, the chalet has an elevator for accessing three floors of the chalet, but please note that the lift doesn't access the lower ground floor where the ski room and relaxation alcove is located.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests and includes full gourmet catering, open drinks bar and daily housekeeping.

The chalet is also offered on a self-catered basis, with housekeeping included every other day.
