Chalet Amazonia is a fabulous offering for large group luxury ski holidays to Chamonix. Situated in a peaceful hamlet in the Chamonix valley, Chalet Amazonia sleeps up to 28 guests across three luxury chalets, Chalet Amazon Creek, Chalet Baloo and Chalet Baby Bear. With rustic, traditional interiors and a plethora of amazing spa facilities, including three outdoor hot tubs, Chalet Amazonia is sure to impress.
All three chalets of Chalet Amazonia feature top floor, open-plan living areas, taking advantage of extra high ceilings for a spacious feel. Roaring fireplaces service comfortable lounges, while authentic wooden interiors are decorated with a host of alpine-themed adornments, including antique furnishings and deer antlers. Chalet Amazonia exemplifies the essential, classic ski chalet experience and pays tribute to the history and heritage of the Chamonix Valley in the process. There are formal dining areas and fully-equipped kitchens in all three chalets. Balconies and terraces, as well as a large snowy garden, allow you to enjoy the winter wonderland outside, which includes enchanting views of famous mountain peaks.
With room for up to 28 guests, Chalet Amazonia delivers a great number of wellness options. Each of the three chalets feature an individual outdoor hot tub, while an indoor plunge pool and sunken indoor hot tub provide further opportunities for an indulgent soak. Across Chalet Amazonia you will also find three saunas, two Hammams and two massage rooms. There's even gym facilities, located on the basement level of Chalet Baloo.
Each of the three chalets that comprise Chalet Amazonia offers up a dedicated area for a relaxing movie night, with a total of two cinema rooms and then a cosy TV lounge in Chalet Baby Bear.
There are 14 double bedrooms to Chalet Amazonia, featuring room for up to 28 guests overall. The bedrooms evoke the classical style of the living areas. Wooden interiors, plush throws, alpine decor and historic ski photographs all contribute to a traditional chalet ambience. Many of the double beds have the ability to be split into twins, and every room enjoys private en-suite facilities. Additionally, several rooms feature additional highlights, including balcony and terrace access and even a wood-burning stove.
There is garage and exterior parking available for guests of Chalet Amazonia. There is also plenty of space for ski storage, with boot warmers in each property for added comfort. Chalet Amazon Creek has an outside swimming pool that is only available in the summer season.
The three chalets can also be taken on an individual basis for smaller groups.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 28 guests and is offered with full chalet catering and in-resort driver service.
The chalet is also available on a self-catered basis with daily morning bakery delivery (items charged in addition).
Please note, during summer 24 there will be a light renovation of the interior spaces and design elements.
Chalet Amazonia is a peaceful, private hamlet of three luxury chalets. You will find Chalet Amazonia situated in the hamlet of Les Bossons in the Chamonix Valley, just outside of the main Chamonix Village.
For your ski day, you can choose to head to the various sections of Chamonix's ski area. However, your nearest option is at the Brévent lift, giving you access to the Brévent-Flégère area on the sunny side of the valley. This can be reached in just a 10-minute drive and here you will also find the nursery ski slopes and ski schools. Les Houches is also a 10-minute drive away and is a quieter alternative at the end of the valley.
Chamonix centre and its generous selection of shops, bars, and restaurants is also 10 minutes drive away. Within the Chamonix valley, there is also a good network of bus routes and the small railway line for further access.
