The Property
Chalet Pogo is a fantastic 10-person luxury chalet in Chamonix, combining a great location in the centre of the valley with a good assortment of facilities. This 225m² chalet features five distinctive double bedrooms and a tempting outdoor hot tub and is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
Quite a contrast to the traditional farmhouse-style that is prevalent throughout the valley, Chalet Pogo instead displays a style of total individuality. This homely property features a bold, vintage design filled with furnishings of rich, autumnal hues and intricate patterns. Across the chalet's ground floor is an intimate, cosy lounge-dining-kitchen area, that sits across an open-plan space. The lounge seating is split between two levels, with a small area on this ground floor and a secondary comfy space in a mezzanine above, which conveniently enjoys the soothing warmth of a fireplace. The sleek dining area enjoys stylish banquette seating reminiscent of 60s diner booths, which backs onto the generous kitchen, well-equipped for all your self-catering needs. Tall windows in the glass aspect stream through natural light to these living spaces, with access out onto the chalet's spacious terrace area.
Out on this terrace, you will be treated to the dual delights of an authentic Nordic hot tub and impressive mountain views in all directions, including those of the Mont Blanc massif. When not relaxing in the pacifying waters of the traditional hot tub outside, you can also unwind in the sauna on the chalet's basement level. Outside the sauna you'll also find a workout space, ideal for yoga, Pilates, and easy free weight sessions.
On the same floor, Chalet Pogo has a dedicated TV lounge. Sink into the plush seating, grab a drink from the mini refreshment bar and enjoy a quiet night in with your favourite box set or film.
Chalet Pogo accommodates up to 10 guests overall, with 5 double bedrooms spread across the chalet's three floors. Striking patterns decorate the interiors and furnishings of these bedrooms, which have a homely and welcoming quality. All bedrooms feature an en-suite shower room, with vintage tiling. One of these en-suites also houses a classy roll top copper bathtub. Three of the bedrooms enjoy access to balconies or terraces.
There are 4 parking spaces available to guests of the chalet. The chalet also includes laundry facilities and a ski room with boot warmers.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping service.

Location
Chalet Pogo is a luxury chalet in Chamonix occupying a great location in a residential district just outside the centre of Chamonix town, offering brilliant views of the Mont Blanc massif.
A 5-minute drive from the chalet will bring you to the Plan Praz gondola, providing access to the Brévent-Flégère ski area of Chamonix. Les Houches ski area is an 8 minute drive away while the Aiguille du Midi is just 1km, perfect for off-piste skiing and a number of non-skiing attractions.
Walk along the River Arve into the centre of Chamonix in about 15-20 minutes on foot, where you will find a wealth of restaurants, cafés and bars. Conveniently, the nearest bus stop is just 2 minutes from the chalet and a local train station is only 4 minutes away, making it easy to travel up and down the valley.
