The Property
A gorgeous, authentic Chamonix farmhouse, Mont Blanc Lodge was built over 100 years ago in what was then the rural Chamonix countryside. A lot has changed since then and the chalet now finds itself nestled close to the centre of Chamonix, but still tucked away close to the historic Coutett Park.
Mont Blanc Lodge is laid out across three floors and sleeps up to twelve guests in six en-suite bedrooms. The ground floor is the heart of the home, and consists of a large entrance hallway, plus an open living and dining area. A characterful room with comfy furnishings and pops of colour, it also enjoys a large open fireplace for cosy evenings together. Whilst Mont Blanc Lodge enjoys a convenient central location, it also benefits from a lovely garden, perfect for building snowmen or soaking up the alpine sunshine on blue sky days. With dramatic views across the surrounding peaks, it's also an idyllic spot to soak in the chalet's outdoor hot tub with a glass of fizz.
On the first and second floor of Mont Blanc Lodge are the six en-suite bedrooms. There are four double/twin rooms on the first floor, and two slightly larger rooms on the top floor. Three of the four bedrooms on the first floor have direct balcony access with picturesque views onto the Bosson Glacier and the majestic Mont Blanc.
Whilst maintaining its original character, Mont Blanc Lodge also has all the conveniences of a modern chalet with Wifi throughout, a warm home-from-home feel, parking for 2 cars, and heated storage for ski equipment.
Prices are per chalet for up to 12 people and include a full chalet catering service. No travel included.
This property is also available on a self-catered basis to include linen and end of stay cleaning.
Location
Mont Blanc Lodge is nestled just a two minute walk from Avenue Michel Croz and Chamonix town centre with its bars, restaurants and shopping.
The chalet is an eight minute walk to the Aiguilles du Midi lift and less than a ten minute walk to the Savoy and Planards nursery slopes, as well as the lifts to the Brevent/Flegere ski domain.
