Chalet Isobel is a luxury chalet in Châtel where traditional character meets modern luxury living. In a gorgeous location with the River Dranse running past the foot of the chalet's garden, this chalet with a hot tub has been meticulously designed in order to best service up to 8 guests, in 4 stylish bedrooms, on your next luxury ski holiday to Châtel.
The main living areas of Chalet Isobel can be found on the first floor. Here you will find a cosy open-plan living and dining area, decorated in a contemporary mountain lodge style, with sleek wooden interiors and cervine-inspired décor. A rustic stone fireplace sits central to the space and provides warmth as you lounge in style on the plush leather sofas. Tucked behind the fireplace and the stairs leading to the floor above there is a fully-equipped modern kitchen, ideal to fulfil all your cooking needs on your luxury self catered ski holiday. From this floor you can gain access to a wide south-facing balcony, offering the perfect spot to admire the stunning mountain views of the Abondance valley.
Further outdoor space can be found in the form of Chalet Isobel's large garden. The garden has a terrace with outdoor seating and leads down to the River Dranse, which flows past the chalet at the foot of the garden. There is also a spacious outdoor hot tub, with space for up to 8 people, meaning all guests of the chalet can come together and relax in style at the end of a long day of exploring the slopes.
For any guests looking for a few hours of escapism and entertainment, there is a TV snug up on the chalet's top floor. This homey space features a smart TV and sound system, making for a brilliant family movie night. For anyone in the group who prefers something a bit livelier to keep them entertained, there is table football on the ground floor in the chalet's entrance hallway.
Chalet Isobel contains four cosy bedrooms, sleeping a total of 8 guests. Each bedroom can be configured as either double or twin, allowing for any make up of up to 8 guests to sleep in the chalet comfortably. Each room comes with its own bath or shower room, while two out of the three bedrooms on the top floor feature private balconies. The bedrooms are simple but inviting, with wooden furnishings and bright, white walls reminiscent of snowy mountain forests.
On Chalet Isobel's ground floor you will find a secure storage area for ski equipment, with heated cupboards for storing boots and jackets. Guests of the chalet can make use of up to three outdoor parking spaces should they wish to drive to Châtel.
Prices are for exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests on a self-catered basis.
Chalet Isobel is located in a stunning location in Châtel, surrounded by the mountains of the Abondance valley with the River Dranse running past at the end of the chalet's garden.
For skiing, Chalet Isobel is just a ten minute walk from the Linga gondola, giving you access to the slopes of Châtel and the Portes du Soleil. A ski bus runs regularly throughout the season that stops directly outside the restaurant that is next door to the chalet. It is possible to ski back slightly closer to the chalet (about 250m away) from the La Leiche blue piste, snow conditions permitting.
Chalet Isobel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the main centre of Châtel, although you are just five minutes from a selection of restaurants, bars and ski shops in the Linga area of Châtel on the outskirts. The nearest restaurant, Le Renard, is next door to the chalet, which you can have breakfast and evening meals in at resident's rates with advanced booking.

Make an EnquiryFor a luxury self catered chalet in Châtel, it is hard to go wrong with Chalet Isobel. You will find the chalet fully-kitted out for your stay, with luxurious duvets, soft pillows, fluffy towels and fresh linen awaiting you in the bedrooms, and a kitchen that is fully-equipped with facilities to aid your self catered ski holiday. The chalet's concierge service is on hand to help start off your ski holiday as easily as possible. This includes help with arranging discounted airport transfers to the chalet door and organising discounted ski hire that can be fitted in the chalet on your arrival or picked up from one of the various ski shops nearby.
While the freedom of a self catered holiday is one of its clear advantages over a catered one, Chalet Isobel does offer a number of food options for groups who wish to plan ahead. The Chalet sits next door to the restaurant Le Renard, and with an advance booking of a minimum of one week, guests will be able to book in breakfast at the restaurant, either for every day of their day or just select mornings, the flexibility is up to you. Furthermore, the same service extends to booking evening meals, except for Tuesdays when the restaurants are closed. For private catering services, the chalet team can work with a local catering service that can arrange weekly (6 day) packages of breakfast, afternoon tea, 2 or 3-course dinners, with shopping and dishwashing taken care of.
