Chalet Les Clarines in Châtel is a wonderful 5-bedroom ski chalet perfect for relaxing family ski holidays in the Portes du Soleil. Boasting a quieter location with beautiful views and a gorgeous interior style, this chalet is ideal for your next luxury ski holiday to Châtel.
Traditional wooden and stone interiors reflect the chalet's alpine heritage, while contemporary touches bring the whole property a refined, luxurious feel. The atmosphere throughout is calming and comfortable. The main living space at Chalet Les Clarines is the open-plan first floor. Here, guests can relax together in the free-flowing living, dining and kitchen space. The sumptuous corner sofa surrounds a roaring log burner and overlooks the snow covered mountains beyond. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the south-facing balcony as the sun sets, and the village lights come to life below. Adjacent to the lounge is the rustic dining space, where the whole group can enjoy fuelling breakfasts and hearty suppers. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything needed to whip up meals the whole group will enjoy, while the central kitchen island and breakfast bar ensures this is a sociable space that encourages conversation as well as cooking!
For the true luxury ski holiday experience, Chalet Les Clarines features an outdoor hot tub on the sun terrace; perfect for a soothing soak under the stars, or some post-ski rejuvenation. Children are also well-catered for in Chalet Les Clarines. The TV lounge, found in a snug room on the ground floor, is equipped with comfortable sofas, a big TV and games console, great fun whether you wish to stream your favourite show or immerse yourself in a late-night gaming session.
Chalet Les Clarines will sleep up to 10 guests in total, spread across its 5 individually-styled bedrooms. A double bedroom with shower room is found on the ground floor, while the other four bedrooms all occupy the chalet's top level. Three of these bedrooms, one of which is a bunk room for two, share a bathroom family-style, although there is an additional shower room on the first floor below. Two bedrooms also benefit from a shared balcony, allowing you to overlook the pretty snowy village and mountain landscape. The bedrooms are designed in a traditionally stylish way, understated and cosy.
For complete convenience, the chalet also has a ski room with heated boot warmers, and a utility room with laundry facilities.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a self-catered basis.
Location
Chalet Les Clarines occupies a brilliant hillside location in the Le Petit Châtel area, enjoying beautiful views over the valley.
The closest ski bus stop is just 50m from the chalet, which will take you to the Petit Châtel chairlift or the main Super Châtel cable car. The nearest lift is the Petit Châtel chairlift, a 7 minute walk away.
Petit Châtel is a picturesque little hamlet on the outskirts of the main Châtel village. There are a couple of bars and restaurants, as well as a ski rental shop. The centre of Châtel is about a 20 minute walk, while the walk back will take slightly longer as it's largely up hill.
