Chalet Ferme du Rys, a converted traditional French mountain farmhouse, sits high on the side of the valley near the small village of La Chapelle d'Abondance. The quiet, private mountain hideaway has been carefully converted, retaining its 18th Century charm and natural beauty whist being equipped with all the comforts of modern living.

Ferme du Rys is a beautiful farmhouse that dates back to 1798. The large open-plan living area was initially used to dry hay and is still full of original features. The most notable are the original wooden beams, these have been married in with the modern touches including a section of glass floor, log store, central board formed concrete plinth with 2-sided wood burner & stunning mountain views through the three huge sliding glass doors which take you onto a panoramic balcony. You will also find a very well-equipped, modern kitchen with functional breakfast bar with beautiful stone worktops, whilst the bright dining area will sit 10 around the large, glass table. From the living room of Chalet Ferme du Rys you can head outside to a wonderful decked area with hot tub and take in the stunning views and tranquil mountain setting whilst relaxing those tired muscles after skiing.

Ferme du Rys can offer plenty of relaxing spa therapies for you to enjoy. In addition to the hot tub on the terrace, you will discover a spa area on the lower ground floor, which formally contained a wine cellar & store for the farmer. Unwind in the 8-person sauna, relaxing area & shower. It is also possible to arrange massage treatments during your stay, just ask the chalet team.

Heading to the ground floor of Chalet Ferme Du Rys you will discover the games room, this is the place to be for après-ski entertainment with a pool table and table tennis table. If you're too tired from your day skiing, stay on the ground floor and head to the cinema room with its large TV, cinema surround sound, streaming channels and a games console, all enjoyed from plush sofas laid out in two tiers. A cosy TV snug can be found on the first floor of Ferme du Rys, offering an additional space to keep guests entertained.

The chalet contains five, well appointed, en-suite bedrooms over three floors. These comprise four double/twin bedrooms along with a children's bedroom complete with two bunk beds and single bed alongside, allowing Chalet Ferme du Rys will sleep 8 adults and 5 children in absolute comfort. The bedrooms are plush and stylish, expertly combining luxurious beds and modern en-suite facilities with the cosy charm of the exposed wooden interiors and high, slanting ceilings. Magnificent mountain views add further appeal to the sumptuous bedroom suites.

Ferme du Rys includes a ski room with boot warmers for storage of all your snowsports equipment.

The prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a fully catered basis with selected complimentary drinks and an in-resort driver service.
