The Property
Chalet Alaska in Courchevel 1850 is a traditional, family chalet for up to 12 guests, offering a good range of spa facilities and a great location close to the slopes. With its own spa with swimming pool, fabulous views, five spacious bedrooms, and classical chalet design, Chalet Alaska is the ideal blend of authenticity and luxury.
The chalet encapsulates 360m² of interior space, with the main living areas located on the chalet's top floor. The tall, vaulted ceilings and rustic wood interiors exhibit a charming Savoyard style, while contemporary light fixtures and designer sofas add a touch of plush luxury. The generous lounge has plenty of space for the whole group to unwind. At one end you'll find an old stone fireplace, and to the other a wall of windows framing picturesque snowy views. There is a separate dining room with an old-chalet charm, and also a fully-equipped kitchen to make any home cooked meals. The lounge has a balcony with outdoor dining table, offering beautiful mountain views over the tops of glistening snow-covered firs.
Chalet Alaska's lower level plays host to the home's inviting spa area, perfect for those looking for some relaxation and wellbeing after a day exploring the slopes of the Three Valleys. There is a heated indoor swimming pool, as well as a cosy sauna and revitalising Hammam, for you to enjoy at your comfort and leisure. In addition to the spa, the chalet has table football in its ski room, providing another great way to let off some steam after a busy day of skiing.
Chalet Alaska contains five bedrooms, welcoming groups of 10-12 guests. Stately wood interiors, soft beds, and classically tiled bathrooms all come together for suites that showcase a Savoyard and Alpine tradition. There is a master double bedroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, alongside four other double bedrooms. Two of these rooms can be split into beds, with one of them functioning as a family room with an additional pair of bunk beds. This makes the chalet a good option for a family ski holiday to Courchevel 1850.
At Chalet Alaska, you will find garage parking for 2 cars, laundry facilities, and a ski room with boot warmers.
For larger groups wanting to be close by to each other, Chalet Alaska is located next door to Chalet Anchorage, sleeping 8-10 guests.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered on a bed and breakfast basis with daily continental breakfast and daily cleaning.

Location
Chalet Alaska is a luxury chalet in Courchevel 1850, situated in the exclusive Quartier Nogentil, just a short walk from the nearest piste.
From the chalet, you are a 4-minute walk up the road to the base of the Pralong chairlift and green Pralong piste. You can either take the chairlift to head up higher into the ski area, or ski down the green Bellecôte run which splits off the Pralong piste to get down to La Croisette, the main snow front of Courchevel 1850. The blue Cospillot piste also splits off the Pralong slope, taking you down to Courchevel Village.
The centre of Courchevel 1850, situated in the same area as La Croisette, is reachable in a 4-minute drive. This is where you will find the majority of Courchevel's amazing gourmet restaurants, luxury shops, and bars. There is a bus stop located 4-minutes walk from the chalet, by the Pralong chairlift.
