The Property
Chalet Nanuq is one of three stellar chalets in the Hameau de la Volière development, a hamlet of three luxury chalets in Courchevel 1850 with swimming pools. The 518m² chalet sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms, and combines an unbeatable location next to the slopes with homely living areas and fantastic spa facilities.
The front door enters the property on its top floor, which is where you will find the main living areas of Chalet Nanuq. With its authentic, vaulted wooden ceilings, cosy integrated fireplace, and comfy furnishings, this open-plan lounge and dining area makes for an inviting spot to unwind as a group. Floor-to-ceiling windows grant access to a balcony, from which you can admire the amazing snowy mountain views on show. A closed fitted kitchen is also on this level, where your private chef will prepare all your delicious evening meals.
A key highlight when staying at Chalet Nanuq is all the magnificent spa facilities on offer. The chalet features a contemporary and relaxing wellness and relaxation area, complete with indoor swimming pool, sauna, and Hammam. There is a massage room for bespoke treatments, and gym facilities also available. Additionally, the chalet has a traditional Nordic hot tub, located on one of its balconies.
Further to the wonderful spa, Chalet Nanuq has some entertainment facilities that will keep all ages engaged and occupied after dinner. While away the evening in the chalet's snug cinema room with a movie night, retire to the library area for a quiet night of reading and board games, or enjoy a sociable atmosphere in the billiards room. Whatever option you pick, refreshments can be provided from either the bar area or wine cellar.
Chalet Nanuq welcomes up to 12 guests across its six bedrooms: five doubles and one twin. The rooms have a distinct and individual style, luxuriously furnished with classic wood panelling that gives them a stately vibe. All the double bedrooms have access to a balcony or terrace area, and all bedrooms come with sumptuous en-suite facilities.
The chalet has elevator access between its floors. There is 1 garage parking space, laundry facilities, and a ski room with boot warmers.
Chalet Nanuq can be booked together with Chalet Bastidons and Chalet Cryst'Aile to create the Hameau de la Volière, which can accommodate up to 36 people.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered with full staff services (chef, butler, housekeeping and in-resort chauffeur). Food and drinks are charged in addition.
Please note, the chalet only offers pre-arrival assistance and in-resort concierge services when you opt into a concierge package. Should you opt in, additional services will be able to be arranged for you on request. (Package upgrades also available).
Location
Chalet Nanuq is a luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1850, found in the exclusive Chenus area of resort in a near ski-in/ski-out location.
From the chalet, you are 50-100m to the nearest slope, the red Dou du Midi piste. From here, you have a short ski down to the Plantrey chairlift, or you can follow the slope down into Courchevel Village or Courchevel Le Praz, where gondolas will bring you up to the main snow front of Courchevel 1850, La Croisette. Alternatively, take advantage of your in-resort driver service and reach La Croisette in just 2 minutes driving.
La Croisette is also where the centre of Courchevel 1850 is located. Here you will find a luxurious selection of boutiques, bars, and gourmet restaurants to explore. On the piste side, you'll find the main gondolas and ski school meeting points.

At this luxury property, a concierge service is available on an opt-in basis. Should you wish for some form of pre-arrival and in-resort assistance, there are three levels of services available to you:
The Snow Pass covers your ski essentials, including the organisation of ski passes delivered to your accommodation and ski equipment hire for the duration of your holiday.
The Booking Pass includes everything that the Snow Pass does, with further assistance in booking numerous activities. From restaurant reservations on the mountain and in resort, to all important ski lessons for members of your party, and the organisation of grocery and bakery deliveries, the Booking Pass will have you covered. The team will also help with transfers to and from resort, arranging childcare for families with children, and booking of other non-skiing activities.
The most comprehensive option, the Serenity Pass, covers the first two passes alongside any additional chalet services. Catering options such as meal deliveries, private chefs, and butler services, as well as private transport options during your holiday can be arranged with the Serenity Pass.
Please note, additional cleaning services can be added without the need for any of the passes. The concierge passes allow for assistance with these services, but extra charges for these additional services will still apply. You can opt-in to or upgrade the concierge services at any time before or during your holiday, but for the optimum assistance, it is recommended you do so at the time of booking, so your in-resort team can best meet your requirements.
