The Grandes Alpes Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel in an unbeatable ski in/ski out location in the very heart of Courchevel 1850. Innovation is at the heart of the Grandes Alpes Hotel's leading principles. The hotel first opened its doors alongside the opening of the first ever ski lifts in resort. Over the years the hotel has taken on many guises, being home to post and tourist offices, banks and ski schools, all due to its remarkable location in the centre of resort. Today it stands as a world-class mountain retreat, where heavenly service and bespoke luxury go hand in hand with delivering unforgettable experiences for the whole family.
The rooms and suites of the Grandes Alpes Hotel are made up of 9 separate apartments with 30 bedrooms in total, sleeping up to 60 guests. The apartments can be configured in a number of different ways, allowing for a simple stay for two in an opulent luxury en-suite bedroom all the way up to larger groups of 8 staying in their own chalet-style apartment, complete with spacious living areas, sophisticated dining spaces, professional kitchens and even private spa facilities in the forms of hot tubs and Hammams. Many of these luxurious suites also feature balconies with beautiful views overlooking the slopes or the resort.
For a relaxing way to unwind after a busy day exploring the world's largest connected ski area, head to the Grandes Alpes Hotel's Bellefontaine spa. Head to one of the massage and treatment rooms for some bespoke beauty treatments delivered by the exclusive Bellefontaine brand. Alternatively, take advantage of the hotel's other spa facilities, with a large indoor pool for a soothing swim, and a sauna and Hammam for restorative sessions. There is also a fitness room with a treadmill to use as a way to cool down on returning from skiing.
For a convivial evening of drinks, the Grandes Alpes Hotel features the Bellini Lounge Bar. Quench your thirst on delicious cocktails and other beverages in this stylish and comfortable lounge, where a warming fireplace and flower-filled ceiling help foster a joyful atmosphere even when the live music isn't playing. You can also get afternoon tea-style pastries and crêpes for a delicious snack. For a more filling meal, the Grandes Alpes Hotel contains the 2 Michelin star Restaurant Sylvestre, and room service is available 24/7. There is even an opulent private dining room for up to 20 guests that opens out right onto the slopes.
Taking advantage of its fantastic ski in/ski out location, the Grandes Alpes Hotel has its very own private ski room and boutique. Everything you could possibly wish for, for hitting the slopes can be found here, from ski gear and ski passes to private mountain guides for all abilities. The ski room opens out directly onto the piste and the boutique staff are on hand to look after all your equipment on return from each ski day.
Within the hotel, there is elevator access to the various floors, a hotel lobby with reception and concierge. Parking is available on request and the hotel can accept pets on a case-by-case basis.
Prices are per night based on double occupancy of a "Deluxe Room" and is offered with daily breakfast and afternoon tea, in-resort shuttle service, daily housekeeping, and full use of the hotel facilities and spa.
Half board upgrade (€150 EUR per day/per adult) and full board upgrades (€250 EUR per day/per adult) are available in addition. Children's upgrades fees (4-12yrs) will also apply. (Half board : €90 EUR/day or Full board €150 EUR/day).
For the 2024/25 ski season, the hotel is open from 13th December 2024 - 31st March 2025. Minimum length stays will apply.
The Grandes Alpes Hotel is located in the very heart of Courchevel 1850, in a unique ski in/ski out location on la Croisette. When it comes to staying in Courchevel 1850, you can't find a location as good as this one. The hotel sits on the snow front, where the main pistes all converge. It is accessible by green, blue and red runs so is suitable for all abilities of skier. There are several lifts taking you further up the mountain, and the main ski school meeting points can all be found just outside the hotel.
Being right in the heart of the resort, you will also find a wide selection of luxury boutiques, bars and restaurants on the hotel's doorstep.
