The Property

Located in the ski resort of La Clusaz, Apartment Aval combines traditional mountain features with modern furnishings, making it a cosy and stylish option for your family luxury ski holiday in France. Organised over two floors, the property spreads across 250m², sleeping up to 12 adults and 4 children across 7 rooms.

Upon entering, guests will be welcomed in the spacious open-plan living space where natural light creates a bright and relaxing area in which to socialise with your group. The interior décor has been carefully chosen to create a sophisticated and modern space, featuring neutral greys which mirror the colours and tones of the mountainous surroundings. The use of wooden elements keeps a traditional homely atmosphere, making the apartment wonderfully cosy. On your return from a day of skiing in La Clusaz, warm to the fireplace in the apartment's comfy seating area, perfectly positioned to enjoy the snowy background. This also provides access out onto the apartment's private terrace.

Adjacent to the lounge area, a large wooden dining table is positioned and comfortable hosts up to 12 guests over mealtimes. On the opposite side, a fully-equipped modern kitchen will provide you with everything you may need in order to cook delicious homemade dishes. A central kitchen island with raised bar stools provides further dining space or a suitable spot for an apéritif with your nominated cook.

After a hard day's skiing in La Clusaz, Apartment Aval's wellness facilities will cater to all your rest and recovery needs. Head towards the spa area and take advantage of the wooden sauna or hammam to soothe any achy muscles. For those late evenings, the mezzanine level is the place to be: have fun playing a game of pool with the whole group while enjoying a chosen drink from the nearby bar area. Meanwhile, the kids will have their own space in the playroom, where a table football will be sure to keep them entertained!

The stylish mountain design is also followed into Apartment Aval's six lovingly decorated bedrooms. All located on the first floor, two double bedrooms benefit from an en-suite bathroom and access to a shared balcony. There is a third double/twin with a private shower room and then two more double or twins and a children's bunk bedroom that sleeps up to 4 children. With two shower rooms and two WC's on this floor, it can be easily allocated to each room. Should you need to accommodate two additional guests, then the play room offers a double sofa bed, which can be used on request.

Apartment Aval also features a ski room with boot warmers, ensuring your ski equipment stays dry for your upcoming days on the slopes. For self-driving guests, parking is also included within the property, as well as laundry facilities.

For larger groups who wish to be together but also have their own independence, Apartment Aval can be booked together with Apartment Amont, found on the first floor of Chalet Les Crets. When taken together, the two apartments can sleep up to 25 guests across 10 bedrooms. Please note, the two apartments are located within the same building, but are not interconnected.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the apartment for up to 16 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis only.
