The Property
Chalet Ecritoire is a luxury ski in/ski out chalet in Courchevel La Tania, a classic log cabin-style home sleeping up to 10 guests across its five double/twin bedrooms. With cosy living areas, an outdoor hot tub, and soothing sauna, Chalet Ecritoire makes for a great base in this small but charming French ski resort.
Set over three levels, the top floor of Chalet Ecritoire is home to its open-plan main living areas. The chalet's authentic log cabin interior design is more akin to a North American lodge than a typical European ski chalet, with this style further enhanced by the sophisticated leather sofas that make up the lounge and snug areas of the floor. A classic log burner sits at the heart of the open-plan floor, providing warmth for those cold winter evenings. The dining area can comfortably seat all 10 guests, with the fully-equipped kitchen nearby for ease of dinner service. A balcony leads off the lounge and kitchen, where you can enjoy picturesque views of snowy mountain scenery.
Chalet Ecritoire comes well-equipped for all your post-ski rest and relaxation needs. An outdoor hot tub acts as a tempting place to indulge in some après-ski drinks and soothe your tired ski legs. Just inside from the hot tub, the chalet also has its own sauna. After maximising your relaxation with the spa facilities, you can unwind in the TV room, which also features table football.
The chalet welcomes up to 10 guests across its five spacious bedrooms. The rooms have a comforting atmosphere, with wood-clad walls and alpine-themed artwork and decor. All rooms can be taken as either double or twin, providing great flexibility for different groups of guests. Each bedroom also comes appointed with an en-suite, while two of the upstairs bedrooms share a balcony.
Chalet Ecritoire has a ski room with boot warmers for all your equipment.
The price is based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered fully catered (dinner service on 5 nights) with selected complimentary drinks and in-resort driver service.
This chalet can also be taken on a flexi-catering service, with 2 fine dining meals, 3 relaxed bistro menu dinner, daily breakfast and daily afternoon tea, plus an in-resort driver service. Please enquire.
Location
Chalet Ecritoire is a luxury ski-in/ski-out chalet in La Tania, situated at the bottom of the piste and close to both the main lifts and centre of resort.
The chalet is located at the bottom of the red Moretta Blanche piste. From the chalet, you can ski or walk a minute over the piste to bring you to the main La Tania gondola. A short way further along from this there are nursery slopes and ski school meeting points, about 3-minutes drive when using the in-resort driver service.
A small but charming ski resort in the Courchevel valley, the centre of La Tania is found just the other side of bottom of the pistes. A couple of minutes in the car will deliver you to the centre, where you can find a collection of shops and restaurants.
Please Note: For the 24/25 winter season the bottom section of the red Moretta Blanche piste which the chalet sits alongside, below where the green Plan Fontaine piste intersects, will be closed due to resort development. The chalet comes with an in-resort driver service, running from 8:30am to 6pm (11pm on staff day's off), meaning you can still reach the La Tania gondola in a matter of minutes. Additionally, the main ski school meeting points are found a little up from the gondola station, near the bottom of the blue Folèyres and green Plan Fontaine pistes, which remain unaffected by the development works.

This lovely chalet is run by a team who are based in La Tania all year round, this ensures they have an unparalleled knowledge of the resort and ski industry enabling them to offer an exceptional service. The team take pride in being personally involved in the day to day running of the individual chalets. They guarantee the very finest in bespoke, luxury chalet service to meet individual client needs.
Each of their chalets has a dedicated and experienced team who will look after you for the week. They are carefully chosen for their passion for cooking, flair for entertaining and high level of customer care. The in-resort driver is on call all day and will drop you to the foot of the slopes or pick you up from the bar. Just get in touch to request the service.
During your stay you will be well catered for by a qualified chef who has trained in fine dining and will be on hand 5 days during your stay to cook your meals. Their chef team comes from some of the hottest restaurants around, including many with Michelin stars! You can expect a hearty, healthy breakfast, indulge in a slice of tasty homemade cake in the afternoon, and sit down to a delicious and imaginative four-course meal served alongside wines from our carefully selected list.
A 'best-of-both' service can also be offered for guests looking for more flexibility. This is a family-friendly mix of catering with a couple of special evenings of gourmet catering courtesy of your own professional chef. Dinner on these evenings starts in style with champagne and canapés. On a further 3 evenings, a chef will produce quality home cooked meals for a relaxed dinner together. You then have the freedom to explore the best restaurants in resort on your remaining nights; the best of all worlds! You can expect a hearty, healthy breakfast each day (cooked on 5 mornings, with a continental, buffet breakfast on 2 days), and indulge in a slice of tasty homemade cake in the afternoon...plenty of delicious food to enjoy throughout your stay!
