The hotel has a warm and gentle atmosphere, putting you completely at ease and in the hands of the attentive staff. While the exteriors fit into the traditional chalet aesthetic of the Three Valleys, the interior design takes a modern, avant-garde approach, a reinterpretation of the alpine style that goes hand in hand with the hotel's chic and relaxed vibe.
There are 55 rooms and suites to Hotel Le Coucou, which showcase the hotel's contemporary design to full effect. The rooms and suites have a refined style, with bold, warm colours, and an individual quality. Light wooden elements provide an alpine quality to the style, while the sharp, contemporary furnishings provide the luxury finish. With the smallest category room, a Deluxe Room, being 30m², you're guaranteed spacious accommodation at this luxury 5* hotel in Méribel. With views and balconies overlooking the slopes and mountains, you'll feel right in the heart of the ski action. For larger groups, around 70% of the rooms interconnect, or you have the options of two independent 590m² chalets next door to the hotel, Chalet Eleonore and Chalet Eglantine.
Hotel Le Coucou's 450m² Tata Harper Spa is a contemporary sanctuary of pure bliss and wellbeing. The facilities on offer here are immense, with both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool the main highlight. Additionally, an indoor Jacuzzi, sauna, and Hammam are the ideal places to unwind after a full day of skiing in Méribel. Naturally, there are multiple treatment rooms to take advantage of the hotel's many signature treatments, while the two fitness rooms not only provide a keen workout, but wonderful views over the valley below.
There are multiple hotel restaurants providing a range of gourmet options for lovers of meat, fish, vegetables and local specialities. The prestigious Beefbar is a sophisticated dining space with vaulted ceilings and an extensive terrace with spectacular, uninterrupted views. Biancaneve serves up a chic and elegant atmosphere, whilst also acting as a relaxed spot for the daily buffet breakfast. Restaurant Le Fumoir is your typical Alpine fondue restaurant in the ornate, former smoking lounge, whilst the Bar des Pistes has a cosmopolitan vibe with a striking design.

The hotel also strives to accommodate those with disabilities, hosting three accessible rooms and suites and adapting nearly all other areas of the hotel to similar requirements.
Prices are based on two people sharing a Deluxe Room and includes daily buffet breakfast, on-call shuttle service, 2 x daily housekeeping, and full use of the hotel facilities and spa.
Other room categories are available. Half board upgrades are available at an extra cost of €80 EUR/day for guests over 10, or €40 EUR/day for guests ages 4-10.
Please note, half board is compulsory for any stay over New Year's Eve. Gala dinners served on 24th and 31st December 2024 will be charged at a cost of €288 EUR and €388 EUR respectively, or €144 EUR and €194 EUR for children aged 4-10.
For 2024/2025 ski season, the hotel is open from 12th December 2024. Minimum length stays will apply.
Location
Hotel Le Coucou Méribel is a luxury 5* hotel situated in an incredible ski in/ski out location at the foot of Rond Point des pistes in Méribel.
Located in the Belvedere quarter by Rond Point, you have direct access to the nursery slopes and some ski school meeting points. Alternatively, a short ski down the blue Doron piste will bring you to the Chaudanne, Méribel's main lift hub. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service, which can bring you down to the main lift hub in less than 10 minutes drive.
While the hotel has many great facilities of its own, including restaurants and bars, you can find more in the centre of Méribel, a 6-minute shuttle journey away.

Beefbar - Restaurant
Taste rare and prestigious meats from around the world at Beefbar. Other gourmet options are available, as well as a balanced children's menu and fine wine cellar. Access via the hotel or straight from the slopes, Beefbar is open daily for lunch (12:30pm-2:30pm) and dinner (7:30pm to 9:45pm).
Biancaneve - Restaurant
Biancaneve is a refined gourmet offering in Méribel. With its piano bar atmosphere, delicious menu utilising local produce and plenty of vegetables, and the "banc de l'écailler", which overflows with seafood, oysters and caviar, this is a prime restaurant for any serious gourmand. Open daily for dinner, 7:30pm to 10pm.
Restaurant Le Fumoir
The former cigar lounge of Hotel Le Coucou Méribel, Restaurant Le Fumoir now offers a rich menu perfect for cheese lovers. Fondue, raclette and other Savoyard specialities, alongside some fine charcuterie, this cosy restaurant is ideal for an authentic taste of the French Alps. Open for dinner Saturday to Wednesday, 7:30pm to 10pm.
Le Bar des Pistes
From a snacking menu and cappuccino to enjoy as you watch skiers come down the piste, to a chic location to enjoy an evening of cocktails, Le Bar des Pistes is the perfect meeting place. Embodying the spirit of Hotel Le Coucou, this elegant and warm setting is open daily from 10am to midnight.
Tata Harper Spa
The 450m² Tata Harper Spa du Coucou offers a range of exclusive body treatments, massages, facials and more, designed for your wellbeing during your luxury ski holiday to Méribel. The Tata Harper products used are natural products free from synthetic chemicals, a leading luxury brand in natural cosmetics. There are six treatment rooms, including a duo, indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, Hammam, and sauna, all allowing you total sensory relaxation. The fitness area features two areas with Technogym equipment, pilates & yoga classes, and a coach available for any specific requirements.
Petit VIP - Kid's Club & Teen's Lab
With a personalised service and countless activities, the Kid's Club (ages 4 to 9) and Teen's Lab (ages 10 to 15) are a fantastic service for a luxury family ski holiday to Méribel. The ski room and shop of Hotel Le Coucou Méribel opens directly onto the slopes, taking advantage of the amazing ski in/ski out location of the hotel. Each day, your equipment is managed and set up by a dedicated team, to avoid any time wasted, with any wet gear from the day before dried and as good as new. The ski boutique allows you to purchase the latest designer ski gear, while the coffee shop is ideal for a warm drink and pastry on return from skiing in Méribel. For returning guests, the hotel can even keep hold of your ski equipment from one year to the next.
Accessibility
Hotel Le Coucou has been designed to be as accessible as possible for those with physical and development disabilities. There are three disabled accessible rooms (1 x Deluxe Room, 1 x Junior Suite, 1 x Suite) with roll-in shower facilities. The reception, concierge service by the entrance, three restaurants, bar, spa, ski room, fitness room, kid's club and public toilets are all disabled accessible. Within the spa area, it is solely the baths and Jacuzzi that do not have reduced mobility facilities. Reserved parking is available and assistance dogs are welcome. The hotel is also happy to provide a range of adapted equipment and activities to allow you to make the most of your holiday.
