The Property
Chalet Riviére is a large and wonderfully presented chalet located in Montriond, offering a lovely secluded spot, surrounded by pine trees and overlooking the river below. The chalet is ideal for larger groups as the property can sleep 10-13 guests across 5 bedrooms, all of which having their own private bathrooms.
The main living area of Chalet Riviére is flooded with natural light, from its large windows at the front of the property, to the scattering of smaller windows throughout the space, giving the area a light and fresh feel whilst also creating a wonderful character. This chalet offers a unique stunning décor with crisp white walls, high beamed ceilings and rustic furniture, providing the chalet with a real sense of style and openness. As the sun begins to set, you can all gather around the fireplace that will crackle and pop as the bubbles in your favourite drink fizzle away in unison. The main living area has an open-plan kitchen with a sociable dining table adjacent.
Overlooking this space is where you will find the mezzanine lounge, which is the perfect area for the younger ones to play or an alternative relaxing spot to hide away from the hive of activity below. If you are a little weary after your day on the mountain, you can slip into the outdoor hot tub that has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and let the bubbles do their mystical work to ease any aches and pains.
Chalet Riviére sleeps between 10-13 guests across five double/twin bedrooms, with three of these bedrooms allowing a single bed to make triple rooms. Four of these bedrooms are en-suite, offering either a shower and/or bath, with the final bedroom having its own bathroom adjacent that also acts as the communal restroom for the main living area. Each room has a chic Alpine style finish for a cosy and comfortable night's sleep. The master bedroom is exclusively on the top floor and is an impressive space, offering a private balcony with stunning views of the valley and a wow-factor en-suite with freestanding bath tub, waterfall shower and his and hers sinks.
The chalet also features a ski and boot room to store and dry out your gear after a long, adventurous day on the mountain.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and includes full chalet catering and an in-resort driver service. Up to 3 additional guests can be accommodated at an extra charge.
On select weeks, the chalet can be offered on a shared basis (book room-by-room), please enquire.
Prices for the 25/26 Winter season are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for 10 guests on a self-catered basis.
With an active effort to be an eco-friendly operation, this chalet proposes green incentives for low impact travel or greener menu choices and an opt-out hot tub reward (Save €200 per week). A voluntary contribution of €9 per person is also applied to your booking, given to Sustainable Mountain Futures Fund to invest in offset projects. To qualify for discounts, you must confirm the details at the time of booking.
