The Property

Chalet Zanskar is a luxury chalet that offers a cosy and intimate escape for 8 adults and 4 children, located in the very heart of the charming French village of St Martin de Belleville. This chalet is typified by its authentic style, spacious living areas and spectacular mountain views, a true family home from home in the mountains.

The top floor of Chalet Zanskar is dedicated entirely to an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. The vaulted wooden ceiling runs the length of the floor, giving an airy and authentic feel to the property. The centre of this floor is occupied by a stylish, matte black fireplace, which separates the lounge from the kitchen-dining space. Plush lounge sofas offer a convivial space to gather as a group, with furnishings and decorations of muted tones that are in keeping with the understated alpine warmth of the chalet's style. The dining table comfortably seat 12 guests, found adjacent next to a large kitchen island, with the fully-fitted kitchen facilities subtly integrated in the chalet's back wall. Balconies lead off the dining and lounge spaces, where picturesque views over the village and surrounding mountain valley await. A landscaped terrace off the ground floor offers further opportunity to enjoy the fresh mountain air.

On its lowest level, Chalet Zanskar hides away an inviting wellness area in what was once a traditional farmhouse wine cellar. A classic stone stairway leads you to the domed room of the wellness area, where you will find the soothing benefits of a sauna and plenty of room for a massage table to be set up. After some revitalising relaxation, head to the chalet's comfortable TV room on the first floor, where a wide sofa invites snug nights in front of the sizeable television.

With four double bedrooms and a quad bunk room, Chalet Zanskar provides room for up to 8 adults and 4 children. The use of stone greys, off-whites and wooden features crafts a stylish atmosphere reminiscent of the mountains, which has been luxuriously finished to an exemplary standard. All four double rooms offer the flexibility of twin configurations, while the bunk room is ideal for children and teenagers alike, the perfect home for a family ski holiday to St Martin de Belleville. The en-suite facilities are equally top quality, with spacious walk-in showers and even a freestanding bathtub in one of the two Master suites.

There is a separate ski room by the entrance of Chalet Zanskar, complete with boot warmers. Additional storage space for equipment and clothing, including a heated storage cupboard, can be found in the chalet's entrance hallway.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 adults and 4 children to include full gourmet catering, complimentary bar and in-resort chauffeur service.

The chalet is also available on a self-catered basis. Upgrade available to include housekeeping (Mon., Wed. & Fri.) and in resort driver service from 8.30am - 10.30am and 15.00pm - 18.00pm for £1,500 GBP per week as a bundle or can be booked individually, please enquire.
