The Property
Chalet Alpinium 1 is a luxury ski chalet in Tignes les Boisses, housing seven double/twin bedrooms for up to 14 guests. The chalet expertly integrates a luxury modern style with traditional materials, spread out over four floors, and features some lovely soothing spa facilities.
The bright, open-plan living area of Chalet Alpinium 1 has an airy, loft-like feel, utilising classic stone and light woods with metallic accents that give the space a modern warehouse style. Stylish, black leather seating occupies the corner lounge, in a free-flowing room that also contains a fully-equipped contemporary kitchen and dining area, which also includes a central open fireplace, live-edge wooden tables and fashionable decorations. This space benefits from large floor-to-ceiling windows, capturing the snowy landscapes outside and flooding the room with ample amounts of natural light.
From Chalet Alpinium 1's living space, you can gain access to a large terrace that leads directly to the pistes. On this terrace you will find a traditional Nordic hot tub, conveniently positioned under the cover of the chalet's terrace, to soak up the snowy views surrounding you as you soothe any aching muscles. Down on the lower ground floor, Chalet Alpinium 1 hosts a relaxing wellness area. Complete with sauna and showers, this space presents the perfect opportunity to host your post-ski relaxation, on your return from the slopes.
In total, Chalet Alpinium 1 can sleep up to 14 guests across 7 luxurious bedrooms. The rooms have a contemporary mountain lodge style, with light wooden interiors complemented by lush carpets and cosy beds. Each of the bedrooms is well-appointed, benefitting from a private balcony and either an en-suite bath or shower room. Every room can also be taken as either a double or twin, providing great flexibility for mixed groups of guests out on a luxury ski holiday to Tignes.
The chalet benefits from an internal elevator, allowing for easy access between all four floors. Outdoor parking is also available for guests driving to the chalet, with space for a couple of vehicles on the road just outside the chalet.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests and is offered on a bed and breakfast basis which will include continental breakfast delivery and daily cleaning.
The chalet is also available on a self catered basis with end of stay cleaning.
Location
Chalet Alpinium 1 is a luxury ski-in chalet located in Tignes Les Boisses, the quiet, picturesque village also known as Tignes 1800.
The chalet occupies a brilliant ski location, situated towards the bottom of the red Mélèzes piste, where it splits off to the blue Colchique piste. You can ski in to the chalet from this piste, while a roughly 100m walk will take you back to the piste, where a short ski down will bring you to the Boisses gondola, your gateway further up the mountain and into the Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area. There are beginner slopes also situated by this gondola station.
The centre of the village, featuring a small selection of bars, shops and restaurants, is a short 5 minute walk away. Alternatively, make use of the free resort shuttle bus for easy access to Tignes Le Lac & Tignes Val Claret, which are 5-10 minutes away, while a short 13 minute car journey will bring you to the centre of Val d'Isère.
