Chalet Machapuchare in Val d'Isère is a phenomenal luxury ski chalet, brimming with spa facilities, and showcasing a chic alpine design. With seven cosy bedrooms sleeping up to 15 guests, this 500m² property is a great option for large groups of families, friends, and also corporate retreats.
Chalet Machapuchare's second-highest floor is entirely dedicated to its living areas, with the lounge area enjoying a spacious area with double-height ceilings. An authentic style with wooden aspects is elegantly complemented by the sumptuous luxury furnishings, which have a neutral colour scheme that exhibit an understated sophistication. A chic fireplace rises to the double-height ceilings in the centre of the floor, perfect for chilly evenings. Either side of the lounge is a formal dining space and a fashionable bar area. A professional kitchen is found next to the dining area, which can be closed off for your privacy. An extensive, wraparound balcony leads off this floor, where fantastic mountain views up and down the valley can be marvelled at.
The large balcony hosts a sizeable outdoor hot tub, a great spot to soak tired legs from skiing and enjoy an après-ski beverage in the late afternoon. Inside the property. Chalet Machapuchare features a greater range of brilliant spa facilities. An indoor swimming pool features a counter current system, with an incredible live wall of plants along one side. There is a Hammam and massage area for further treatments, while gym facilities overlook the pool area.
On the same level as the spa, Chalet Machapuchare has a stylish state-of-the-art cinema room. With comfy tiered seating, sound-proofing and games consoles, this is a great spot to escape for either a movie or games night.
Chalet Machapuchare has seven bedrooms overall, sleeping up to 15 guests. The bedrooms are quintessential alpine suites, with refined wooden interiors, plush throws, and soft beds, each with its own unique character. There are two Master double suites on the top floor, with all other bedrooms offering the configuration of double or twin beds. One of these rooms works as a great family suite, with a separate snug with children's bunk beds. All rooms also benefit from en-suite facilities, some of which can be found in an open-plan design with the bedroom. One of the bedrooms is also disability accessible.
Chalet Machapuchare is home to probably the most stylish ski room in Val d'Isère, with heated boot warmers in each individual boot cupboard. There is elevator access between the chalet floors, laundry facilities, and parking in a shared underground garage.
Chalet Machapuchare shares its garage with Chalet O Valala next door. The two chalets make a great option taken together for groups of up to 28 guests.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 14 adults, to include full gourmet catering, open bar and in-resort driver service. Empty bed and child discounts will apply. Up to 2 extra children can be accommodated on request. Enquire for details.
