Chalet La Datcha VT is a luxury ski in/ski out chalet in Val Thorens, with all the features you could possibly dream of... and more. Set over 5 floors and covering 1,200m² of space, this impressive chalet comes with an incredible list of spa and entertainment facilities, a south-facing aspect that grants amazing mountain views, and space for up to 15 guests spread between its 8 stylish bedrooms.
The second (and middle) of the five floors of Chalet La Datcha VT is home to its generously sized main living areas. One half of the living space is dedicated to the main lounge, where you will find plentiful plush seating, a distinctive, crimson-tiled bioethanol fireplace and a corner bar area for concocting delicious après-ski beverages. The other half is filled by the opulent dining area, an elegant space with circular dining table, feature chandelier and distinguished decor. Off the main lounge, there is a separate cigar room, a sophisticated area for socialising, perhaps with a fine vintage of wine obtained from the chalet's exclusive wine cave. The second floor benefits from an expansive south-facing balcony. From here, you can marvel at the chalet's wondrous location, overlooking Val Thorens, the Plein Sud piste and the surrounding mountains. This balcony also offers a great spot for some alfresco dining, lounging in the sun with a drink, and leads directly onto the adjoining piste.
On the chalet's first floor, there is a marvellous spa area with a tinted glass front that looks directly out onto the slopes. On return from skiing, lose yourself in a world of tranquility in this lovely wellness space. There is an indoor swimming pool, an enormous indoor hot tub, as well as a sauna and a Hammam in the main relaxation space. Outside you will find another hot tub, while on the same level there are gym, massage and yoga rooms.
After a long session of pampering spa treatments, Chalet La Datcha VT has a host of unique facilities for an entertaining evening at your luxury ski chalet. The chalet comes with two cinemas for when you just can't decide what movie to watch, as well as a children's play room and table football. If that's not enough, then you can enjoy a round of golf on the chalet's golf simulator or pit yourself against some of the world's best drivers on the Formula 1 simulator.
With 8 bedrooms sleeping up to 15 people, the chalet offers a spacious environment for you to feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a day on the slopes of one of the Alp's most famous ski areas. Chalet La Datcha VT's bedrooms are located across its upper two floors. The top floor provides three extra-private double/twin suite with individual balconies. On the third floor, you will find a Master suite, three double/twin rooms and a single bedroom. Decorated with a distinguished flair, along with design elements that pay heritage to the chalet's alpine roots, each room is a sumptuous suite completed by stylish shower rooms and stellar panoramic views.
An internal elevator runs between the five floors of Chalet La Datcha VT, with a garage for parking being found on its lowest level.
The price is based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 15 guests and includes full staff services and gourmet catering. Alcoholic drinks are charged in addition.
Chalet La Datcha VT occupies one of the most desirable locations in Val Thorens: a ski in/ski out chalet at the top of the resort, south-facing with amazing views of the surrounding mountain peaks.
The chalet sits at the top of resort, towards the bottom of the blue Plein Sud piste, where it flattens out and forks off into two gentle paths. One of these paths leads towards the Plein Sud chairlift, from which you can connect over to the other resorts of the Three Valleys with another chairlift or cable car connection. The other path leads through resort towards the nursery slopes, main ski school meeting areas and further skiing in Val Thorens. The Plein Sud piste that leads to the chalet is also the location of the popular Folie Douce après bar.
Guests will find the primary selection of local restaurants, bars and other resort facilities, including a fitness centre and bowling alley, a short 5-10 minute walk from the chalet. These can be reached in 2 minutes when utilising the in-resort chauffeur service of the chalet.
