The Property

Chalet Akaroa is a luxury chalet in the Italian resort of Livigno, with a splendid style of contemporary Alpine luxury, an eco-friendly design, and a good variety of spa facilities. The chalet hosts five polished bedrooms, with a capacity to welcome between 8 and 13 guests.

Encompassing 380m² of interior space, spread predominantly over three main floors, Chalet Akaroa is a spectacle of design. Quality natural materials and stylish luxury furnishings combine to great effect. On the chalet's ground floor, an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area makes up the heart of the chalet. Bold, contemporary sofa seating congregates around a glass-fronted gas fireplace, decorated with classic stones and woods. A sturdy wooden dining area sits in front of the wine rack, where a fine selection of bottles can accompany your evening meals. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, complete with a breakfast bar, with a design that seamlessly blends into the authentic wooden chalet design of the rest of the space. Outside, Chalet Akaroa grants access to a terrace and small chalet garden area, perfect for little ones to enjoy playing in the snow.

On its basement level, Chalet Akaroa houses a wonderful wellness area with a great assortment of facilities for you to enjoy. There is a swim-spa with massage jets and countercurrent system to employ at your preference. A sauna, Hammam, emotional showers and massage room provide a range of different ways to help you relax after a busy day of skiing in Livigno. In an enclosed garden outside, offering total privacy, the chalet features an outdoor Jacuzzi. A central relaxation area with deckchairs and plush seating, modern lighting that gives off a pleasant, calming glow, natural mountain materials and a delightful snowy mountain mural all further contribute to the soothing atmosphere of this appealing spa area.

Chalet Akaroa contains five bedrooms in total, four doubles and one bunk room, with the capability of welcoming between 8 and 13 guests. The bedrooms are an expert mix of tradition and modernity, with old wood, exposed beams, and crafted stone integrated with sumptuous beds and a polished finish. Most bedrooms have additional extras that help each space stand out, including private and shared balconies, a sauna, luxurious walk-in double showers, fireplaces and open-plan shower rooms. One of the double bedrooms also has a mezzanine space above it with an extra single bed.

There is a ski room with boot warmers and laundry facilities found on the lowest floor of Chalet Akaroa. For your convenience, there is garage parking for two vehicles, and an internal elevator running between the three main floors, only not travelling up to the bedroom on the attic floor.

For larger groups of between 16 and 24 guests, Chalet Akaroa can be taken alongside its sister chalet, Chalet Akon, which is located next door to the property.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 13 guests and is offered on a self catered basis only. Two additional guests can be accommodated on request.
