Located in the idyllic hamlet of Le Fornet, Chalet Rive Gauche is a luxury ski chalet in Val d'Isère filled with rustic charm and modern wellness amenities. This five-bedroom luxury chalet sits in a scenic setting, looking down the river Isère, in fantastic access to skiing – the perfect base for 8-10 guests this winter!
Guests will be met by a charming, spacious and airy ambience, into Chalet Rive Gauche's second floor living and dining areas, thanks to double-height ceilings and expansive windows which look out on the snowy mountain valley. Reclaimed woods and exposed stone decorate the space to add to that of the typical alpine surroundings the chalet sits in. The large sofa corner is perfectly positioned around a coffee table and wood-burning fireplace, to catch up on the day's activities whilst warming any cold fingers and toes. The sturdy dining table comfortably seats 10 guests, effortlessly blending with the chalet's interiors. An additional table, for 4 guests, acts as an ideal breakfast or card games space. An outdoor terrace can be accessed via the living room, for a closer look out over the icy Isère River to the mountains of the Italian border, following mealtimes. A separate kitchen completes Chalet Rive Gauche's living floor.
For relaxation, Chalet Rive Gauche presents modern wellness amenities that perfectly complement the rest of the property's interiors, taking advantage of the same wondrous views overlooking the river and old bridge. Test yourself against the indoor swimming pool's counter current system before resetting your body in the Hammam, just what's needed after a long day exerting yourself on the slopes!
Chalet Rive Gauche has five bedrooms to sleep up to 10 guests, each as equally charming as the next, featuring exposed wooden beams and soft luxurious bedding to gently hold you as you rest. The first floor holds the majority of bedrooms, including three en-suite doubles that can be arranged into twins to perfectly suit your group's requirements. A bunk bedroom (sleeping 2) is also found on this floor and can be used by adults and children alike. Please note, guests staying in this bunk room will need to share another bedroom's shower facilities. On the third floor, a final double bedroom completes the list.
For your convenience, the chalet has one garage parking space for self-driving guests and a ski room with heated boot warmers, making sure your kit is ready to go at a moment's notice.
For larger group ski holidays, Chalet Rive Gauche can be rented alongside neighbouring chalet, Chalet Vieux Pont. Sleeping up to 20 guests between them, it poses a fantastic option for multiple groups wishing to have their own privacy yet benefit from the same exceptional location.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering service, selected complimentary drinks, and in-resort driver (8am-10pm).

Located in the tranquil enclave of Le Fornet, beside the Isère river, Chalet Rive Gauche sits in a scenic setting with fantastic access to skiing. The closest lift, Le Fornet gondola, is found at the bottom of the blue Mangard piste, approximately 100m from the chalet, and is perfect for morning skiers who want to beat the morning queues. On return, it's possible for intermediate and advanced skiers to ski back to Chalet Rive Gauche (condition dependant), by traversing across from the Mangard run.
Val d'Isère's buzzing centre is found a 5-minute drive from Chalet Rive Gauche. Here, guests will find the resort's main snow front, ski schools, bars, restaurants and shops, ready to be explored. There's also a restaurant found closer to the property, at the foot of the Le Fornet gondola.

Offered on a catered basis, this property allows you to experience the luxury of a catered chalet ski holiday in the Alps. Food is at the heart of everything they do. A selection of unique and bespoke seasonal menus, that cater to a range of cuisines and dietary requirements, will be discussed prior to your stay to match your group's requirements. Daily breakfasts will be served each morning, whilst afternoon tea awaits your return from a mountain day. In the evening, dinners will be served on 5 nights, letting you explore the best that the resort has to offer for the remaining two nights. Early children's dinners are available should you require. On one evening of your choice, Champagne, and canapés will also be supplied. To accompany your food, carefully selected superior wines, all soft drinks and juices, and a range of house spirits are also available.
In addition, an in-resort ski shuttle service is included, to transport guests to and from the slopes each day. Available 8am-10pm, this service will ensure you can get first lifts if you are looking to carve fresh tracks or are needing to get to ski school on time. You can also enjoy a post-ski drink or dance at one of Val d'Isere's popular after-ski locations, knowing the service is ready to take you home when you need.
