Chalet Vieux Pont is a luxury ski chalet with a swimming pool in the Le Fornet enclave of Val d'Isère. Sleeping 10 guests across five bedrooms, Chalet Vieux Pont presents the perfect spot to enjoy a ski holiday with friends and family, or for a corporate getaway to the French Alps. Designed by Michael Covarel, the chalet holds a quaint riverside location, and is even built onto the rocks of the River Isère, with exposed rock showing through in areas of this tremendously unique chalet.
Chalet Vieux Pont's living interiors span approximately 260m² in floor space, over four floors. Throughout, the chalet holds a modern alpine feel, with touches of traditional mountain style exhibited through wooden cladding and exposed stone. The main, spacious open-plan living area sits on the chalet's top floor. Featuring vaulted ceilings and a large stone fireplace, this space further exemplifies the property's rustic charm. Fall into the large seating coves, or armchairs, with plenty of space for guests to converse together whilst gazing out to dramatic landscapes surrounding you through a multitude of picture windows. Alternatively, step out into the winter paradise on the sun terrace accessed via this floor. For evening mealtimes, a reclaimed wood table offers space for 10 guests to dine together. An additional table is well-suited for card or games, for four people, following meals. A kitchen completes the floor and can be separated for meal preparations in privacy.
The lowest level of Chalet Vieux Pont houses a stylish wellness spa for after-ski relaxation. Guests have the option to swim against the counter current system in your very own indoor private swimming pool, or to recover tired ski muscles in the Hammam.
In total, Chalet Vieux Pont accommodates for groups of 10 guests across five cosy bedrooms. Each bedroom's decor is consistent with the rest of the chalet's interiors, utilising exposed woods, neutral tones and luxury furnishings, to present a welcoming private haven for all guests to reside to. The master bedroom takes place on the chalet's second floor, complete with a stunning wraparound balcony that showcases wonderful river and mountain views. For flexibility, the master can be configured as a twin bed set up, similarly to the three bedrooms on the first floor, to suitably match your group's arrangements. The final ground floor bedroom is as equally impressive, featuring part of the exposed rock face that the chalet is built into.
Chalet Vieux Pont has a ski room with boot warmers to store ski equipment, ready for the slopes.
For larger group ski holidays, Chalet Vieux Pont can be rented alongside neighbouring chalet, Chalet Rive Gauche. Sleeping up to 20 guests between them, it poses a fantastic option for multiple groups wishing to have their own privacy yet benefit from the same exceptional location.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering service, selected complimentary drinks, and in-resort driver (8am-10pm).

Located in the tranquil enclave of Le Fornet, beside the Isère river, Chalet Vieux Pont sits in a scenic setting with fantastic access to skiing. The closest lift, Le Fornet gondola, is found at the bottom of the blue Mangard piste, approximately 100m from the chalet, and is perfect for morning skiers who want to beat the morning queues. On return, it's possible for intermediate and advanced skiers to ski back to Chalet Vieux Pont (condition dependant), by traversing across from the Mangard run.
Val d'Isère's buzzing centre is found a 5-minute drive from Chalet Vieux Pont. Here, guests will find the resort's main snow front, ski schools, bars, restaurants and shops, ready to be explored. There's also a restaurant found closer to the property, at the foot of the Le Fornet gondola.

Offered on a catered basis, this property allows you to experience the luxury of a catered chalet ski holiday in the Alps. Food is at the heart of everything they do. A selection of unique and bespoke seasonal menus, that cater to a range of cuisines and dietary requirements, will be discussed prior to your stay to match your group's requirements. Daily breakfasts will be served each morning, whilst afternoon tea awaits your return from a mountain day. In the evening, dinners will be served on 5 nights, letting you explore the best that the resort has to offer for the remaining two nights. Early children's dinners are available should you require. On one evening of your choice, Champagne, and canapés will also be supplied. To accompany your food, carefully selected superior wines, all soft drinks and juices, and a range of house spirits are also available.
In addition, an in-resort ski shuttle service is included, to transport guests to and from the slopes each day. Available 8am-10pm, this service will ensure you can get first lifts if you are looking to carve fresh tracks or are needing to get to ski school on time. You can also enjoy a post-ski drink or dance at one of Val d'Isère's popular after-ski locations, knowing the service is ready to take you home when you need.
