The Hotel de Rougemont is nestled into the unrivalled natural beauty of the Pays d'Enhaut and is very much defined by its chalet-style architecture. Harmonious, with personal character and contemporary design, five adjacent chalets of varying sizes stand together in an almost village-like cluster slightly above Rougemont village. The Hotel de Rougemont accommodates 33 guest rooms and suites, the Grand Chalet de Rougemont, a restaurant and an entrance building with lobby, bar and lounge. Planning and construction placed great emphasis on the surroundings, the views and the landscape – every window affords postcard-worthy views.
The 33 luxurious rooms and suites are all furnished in a modern, Alpine style and are all south-facing for majestic views of the Swiss Highland and its snowy mountain peaks. The majority of the rooms also have their own private terraces or balconies to truly make the most of the incredible panoramas. Traditional materials with a unique design and warm colours evoking earth and nature combine to form a comforting atmosphere. The 14 suites have the added luxury of living rooms and fireplaces for an even cosier, warming ambience.
After a hike, an invigorating day on the slopes or simply to pamper body and soul – nothing beats a visit to the Turkish bath and sauna. Beneath a canopy of stars, the hammam has a mystical air, enhanced by 100 percent humidity and the sauna is entirely in aspen wood, overlooking a black mosaic swimming pool. The choice of the Nuxe beauty brand compliments the hotel's close relationship with nature, with several Nuxe beauty treatments available for indulgent pamper sessions. There is also a fitness area with plenty of high quality machines for both bodybuilding and cardio sessions.
The Le Roc Restaurant exudes the informal air of an Alpine brasserie, and both the sun-exposed terrace and the cosy open fire in the Lounge and the Roc Bar invite guests to savour and linger in the pleasant ambience. The Alpine-style Lounge beckons with comfortable armchairs and sofas and expansive windows affording views of the mountain panorama. Experience creative gourmet cuisine concocted with exceptional local ingredients with Mediterranean flavours along the theme of "sea and mountain".
The Wine Bar boasts a choice selection by wine expert Geny Hess and the large, oval table is ideal for wine tastings and private functions. The interior of the smoked glass and timber Cigar Lounge was inspired by a masculine, British style and exudes the colours, scents and history of fine cigars and tobacco.
The hotel has a ski equipment and bicycle storage room. The in-house, completely private cinema seats 18 guests, setting the stage for movie screenings in an intimate setting. A large conference room accommodates up to 65 people and can be converted or divided into two rooms as the occasion requires.
Prices are based on the lowest category room, a standard double room, with the assumption of two people sharing a room. This is inclusive of daily breakfast service, plus full use of the facilities and spa.
Other room type are available on request, please enquire.
