The Property

The five-star superior, The Alpina Gstaad is no ordinary hotel. It is a unique establishment where authenticity is combined with Swiss refinement to create an Alpine experience like no other. A jewel of the Swiss hotel industry, The Alpina Gstaad has been receiving outstanding distinctions since it opened.

The Alpina Gstaad is more than a place to stay in the Alps, it is an icon for Gstaad and mindful, conscious and responsible luxury. Situated in the heart of nature, the eco-friendly hotel combines Swiss traditions with state-of-the-art infrastructure and services. Sustainability and innovation are the pillars by which The Alpina Gstaad is driven. Local products and resources are integrated seamlessly throughout the hotel into creating a modern interpretation of Alpine chic.

At The Alpina Gstaad, each of the 56 rooms and suites uniquely embody Swiss authenticity and sophistication. The expertise of artisans from the region has created inspiring spaces, where original and contemporary local materials are subtly united with genuine period woodwork.

Housed right at the heart of The Alpina Gstaad, the Six Senses Spa is a true sanctuary of peace and well-being, to be enjoyed by guests and locals alike. Inspired by Asian traditions and drawing its energy from the Alpine heart of the Bernese Oberland, this unique oasis of serenity offers world-renowned treatments designed to indulge the senses.

The Alpina Gstaad's Executive Chef, Martin Göschel, supervises multiple exceptional restaurants, ensuring excellence across the board. He expertly orchestrates the hotel's culinary offerings – from the surprising and inventive cuisine of Japanese restaurant MEGU, to the gourmet dishes served at the restaurant Sommet, to the authentic local fare and cosy ambience of the Swiss Stübli, and also the sharing style mountain dishes at Monti. Each plate produced is an expression of the chef's famous attention to detail and eye for perfection.

Prices are based on two people sharing a Deluxe Room Schönried on a half board basis and will also include use of the hotel facilities, Six Senses Spa and in-resort driver service.

For 2024/25 ski season, the hotel is open from 12th December 2024 - 11th March 2025.
