Originally built in 1913, The Carlton Hotel St Moritz has been completely refurbished and now welcomes guests as a 5* Boutique hotel with 60 rooms and Suites, all with stunning views of the lake and picturesque Upper Engadine Valley.
The interior of the Carlton Hotel showcases and reflects interior designer Carlo Rampazzi and his trademark use of the finest materials. The spacious suites combine light and space, shapes and colours, the timeless and the contemporary to create the perfect setting for a memorable stay.
The 60 spaciously appointed junior suites and suites of the 5-star hotel start from 35m² and, alongside the exceptional diversity of colours, offer the highest standard of comfort and state-of-the-art technology. All the suites are south facing with views of Lake of St. Moritz, and most have balconies or terraces that offer heavenly vantage points for many local top events such as the Polo World Cup on Snow or the world-famous White Turf horse racing event. The Carlton Penthouse is the largest and most exclusive of the suites for the ultimate holiday break to St Moritz for up to 6 guests.

The award-winning Carlton Spa is set out over three floors and more than 1,200m² of pure luxury, including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, wellness and spa areas, fitness centre, hair salon and multiple massage & treatment rooms. Located on the lowermost floor is the spacious sauna area with steam bath, caldarium, Finnish sauna and a separate ladies' sauna. To cool off after an invigorating sauna session, there is a whole range of different hydro-massage showers.
The kitchen teams of the two restaurants prepare culinary delights of the highest standards. The Grand Restaurant offers fine plant-based dishes in classically elegant ballroom-style restaurant, while the excellent Two-star Michelin restaurant Da Vittorio - St. Moritz serves authentic Italian cuisine at its best in a casual atmosphere, which takes you on a culinary journey to Lombardy. The Carlton Bar and Lobby with its large sun terrace is the perfect spot to relax and unwind – whether it be lunch with delicious specialities from the grill, a traditional afternoon tea or a glass of sparkling champagne in the evening. Additionally, the Fondue Gondola, situated in front of the hotel, provides the authentic Swiss dishes in a charming ski gondola cab.
Prices are based on two guests sharing a Deluxe Double Room (35m²). All rates will include daily complimentary breakfast buffet, a food, and drink credit (up to CHF 100 per guest/per day), use of the full hotel facilities, spa, 24-hour limousine service, ski shuttle and arrival/departure transfer from St Moritz Station & Samedan Airport.
For different room options, please enquire. Additional guests (age 12+) may be accommodated in Junior Suites and above for a rate of CHF 350 per guest per night. Children 11 and under stay free of charge.
For the 24/25 season, the Carlton Hotel is open from 6/12/24 to 23/3/25.

The Carlton Hotel St Moritz is located via Johannes Badrutt in the very heart of the resort, offering stunning views of the lake. The village centre can be reached in a 12 minute walk or 2-minute drive. Here, there is a luxury selection of the most exclusive boutiques, shops and restaurants.
The Corviglia ski station is just a short 2 minute shuttle from the hotel to allow you to be on the sunny pistes in no time.
For guests arriving by private jet, the Samedan St Moritz private airport is a 10 minute car journey away.

Da Vittorio** - St. Moritz
Dine at the Carlton Hotel's two Michelin-starred restaurant from Wednesday to Sunday, 7pm to 10pm. The authentic Italian dishes have also earned 18 Gault Millau Points.
Grand Restaurant
The hotel's new concept restaurant. Executive Chef Salvatore Frequente delivers a menu of both traditional and contemporary gourmet cuisine. The dishes honour the power of plant-based foods, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers or hand-picked from wild forests. Open daily for breakfast (7am-11am) and dinner (7pm to 10pm).
Carlton Bar & Bel Etage with Sun Terrace
Open daily, this chic bar is the beating heart of the Carlton Hotel, a perfect spot for some afternoon tea (1pm to 6pm), or to enjoy a cosy drink as you watch the snowy landscape outside. Live music plays from 3pm onwards. Experience some of the best views in St. Moritz for lunch (12pm-3pm) on the Sun Terrace, overlooking mountain panoramas and a beautiful lake vista.
Fondue Gondola
Located outside the front of the hotel, the gondolas await for a delicious cheese fondue for two to four people, open for both lunchtime (12pm to 3pm) and dinner (6pm to 10pm) experiences.
Food & Drink
Every day each guest will receive a food and beverage voucher worth CHF100. This credit can be redeemed in all the hotel's restaurants, as well as for 24 hour room service. It cannot be transferred or paid out, and the credit expires at the end of each day.
Carlton Spa
This 1,200m² spa, set over three floors, has a wealth of excellent facilities for guests to use, from indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, steam rooms, a 24/7 fitness centre, a number of treatment rooms and a hairstylist. Nature is at the heart of the holistic spa treatments, grounded in cutting edge scientific research, expect a tailor-made service using fully organic and natural products.
Kids Club

There's a ski room for storage, a ski shop on the property for equipment, a ski shuttle to the pistes and back, special "outdoor butlers" to help you make the most of your mountain experience, and ski instructors. You can even rent a mountain for the evening, 4.2km of slopes on the Corvatsch can be yours alone.

The Empire Ballroom is ready to welcome you for your special event, including weddings, with a world-class catering experiences. For corporate groups, three conference rooms are equipped with the latest technology, or the Grand Restaurant can be utilised for larger groups. As part of the Green Globe certification programme, the Carlton Hotel has been recognised for its commitment to a respectful and sparing use of resources, minimising any negative environmental impact. Free electric vehicle charging points are available for use outside the hotel, while the hotel utilises recycling programs and sustainable purchasing practices to reduce waste and emissions. The goal is CO2 neutrality from check-in to check-out, with any unavoidable CO2 emissions are offset with funding to climate protection projects.
