Chalet Elena is a spacious luxury four-bedroom apartment, occupying the ground floor of Chalet Shalimar in Zermatt. Sleeping eight guests, it offers a tranquil alpine haven for your luxury ski holiday in Zermatt. Chalet Elena also shares a spa area featuring one of the few indoor swimming pools in Zermatt, a sauna, Hammam and massage room.
Chalet Elena is made up of two identical apartments separated by an adjoining door, with each side fully equipped as a four-person apartment. But together, you get a commodious living space that allows for groups to split off easily into their own spaces, this suits both family and corporate bookings.
Chalet Elena's cosy open-plan living areas are designed in a modern contemporary style with touches of alpine comfort and design such as the statement stone fireplace that glows with warmth. Take a seat on the comfy sofa or the inviting armchairs which surround the fireplace, an ideal spot for warming any cold toes after your day's skiing. The space is filled with natural light thanks to the panoramic windows, showing off stunning views of the Matterhorn. Step through the sliding doors onto the terrace to enjoy a closer look. Beside the lounge area lies the sturdy wooden dining table, where you'll enjoy delicious meals on the nights you aren't exploring the restaurants of Zermatt. The fully equipped kitchen with raw wood cupboards overlooks the dining and lounge areas from behind its black-top work surface.
Chalet Elena's four double/twin bedrooms feature wooden clad walls contrasted by the soft furnishings and rich fabric curtains which tie the room together. All of the bedrooms have French doors that open out to the terrace/garden area, letting you embrace the crisp mountain air. The rooms each have en-suite bathrooms with separate showers.
Chalet Shalimar is home to a fabulous wellness centre on its lower ground floor, which Chalet Elena shares with Chalet Alex, which occupies the top two floors. There's a dazzling indoor pool, sauna, hammam, and massage room, everything you could need to make sure your body is fully recovered for tomorrow's exhilarating day skiing.
For your convenience, guests of Chalet Elena also have use of lockers in a shared ski room with boot warmers, making sure your ski gear is ready to go at a moment's notice.
For larger groups, Chalet Elena can be taken with Chalet Alex as Chalet Shalimar sleeping up to twenty guests.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests and includes full gourmet catering, selected complimentary drinks, in-resort electro-taxi on arrival & departure and two days complimentary ski instruction.
This chalet is also available on a bed and breakfast basis, with daily continental breakfast, daily housekeeping, mid-week towel change and in-resort electro-taxi on arrival & departure
