The Property
Chalet Matten in Zermatt provides accommodation for groups of 6 guests, a delightful 130m², second floor apartment in a great location. The apartment has stunning views of the Matterhorn and the village of Zermatt.
Fusing contemporary and classical alpine design with the spirit of the mountains, Chalet Matten evokes a feeling of peace and tranquillity in the exclusive alpine village of Zermatt. The lounge has a light and cosy living area with comfortable sofas and beautiful views towards the Matterhorn. There is a large oak table that can seat 6 comfortably, which is central to a modern and fully equipped kitchen. This apartment is spacious, luxurious and offers the comfort of a home-from-home. A balcony leads off the living areas, giving you an up close view of the famous Matterhorn.
Chalet Matten sleeps 6 guests across three bedrooms. The bedrooms can be set up as double or twin to accommodate your group configuration. The rooms are elegantly decorated with a modern and fresh feel. Each room has subtle lighting, underfloor heating and a TV. The two bathrooms are separate from the bedrooms, one with a shower cubicle and the other with a bath and hand-held shower.
On the ground floor you have access to the shared fitness facilities and massage room where an in-house therapist can offer treatments at an additional cost. Through the fitness room, you will also have access to the shared outdoor Jacuzzi, where you can recover your ski muscles after a day out on the slopes. On this floor there is also a fully equipped laundry room and a ski room. The apartment has been luxuriously finished to cater for your every need and can be accessed by stairs or lift.
For larger groups, you can rent Chalet Matten alongside the other apartments in the building. This includes Chalet Petit (Sleeps 6) and Aria Penthouse (Sleeps 8).
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 6 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with meet and greet at Zermatt station and transport to the chalet.

Chalet Matten is a luxury apartment with the privilege of a quiet location just outside the centre of the exclusive ski resort of Zermatt.
For ski lovers, the Matterhorn Express gondola is just an 11-minute walk away or a quick two-minute ride with the resort electric bus, ensuring effortless access to some of the best slopes in the Alps. Ski lockers are available to hire for your holiday duration at the gondola station, should you prefer to keep your equipment ready and waiting for you at the lift.
The main hub of the village at the church square, Matterhorn museum and main high street, is just 6 minutes walk away, offering easy access to boutique shops, world-class restaurants, and lively nightlife of Zermatt.
