The Property

Chalet Ulysse is a quaint ski chalet in an exclusive resort of Zermatt, with space for up to 8 guests in its four bedrooms. With a good location and fantastic Matterhorn views, the chalet is a great option for families looking to enjoy a luxury Zermatt ski holiday.

Chalet Ulysse covers three floors overall, with a main chalet and a separate lower ground floor. The first floor of the main chalet building is where you will discover the living spaces. An open-plan living, kitchen and dining room sits in front of you as you enter the chalet, with light wood and bright walls forming an airy space. You can find a comfortable corner sofa and cowhide seating congregated around a warming, stylish fireplace in the lounge. The kitchen-dining area sits under a taller, vaulted ceiling, where you will find both an 8-seater dining table and a spacious fitted kitchen. The main living areas are surrounded by windows, and open out onto a balcony, from which you can admire picture-perfect views of the iconic Matterhorn peak.

The chalet can sleep 8 guests in total, spread across its four bedrooms. One bedroom with a separate shower room is found on the same floor as the living area, with the other three rooms found on the chalet's top floor. The bedrooms are simple and understated, with pretty views across classic chalet rooftops and of the surrounding mountain landscape that let you appreciate the charming alpine setting of Zermatt.

In addition to the main chalet, guests of Chalet Ulysse will have access to a lower ground floor, shared with a separate ground floor apartment. On this lower ground floor, you will enjoy access to a small spa relaxation area with a sauna and cooling rainfall shower, as well as having access to a ski room with boot warmers to store all your ski gear on return from the slopes of the Matterhorn Ski Paradise.

Larger groups of up to 12 guests can take Chalet Ulysse alongside the ground floor apartment as Haus Ulysse, where you will benefit from exclusive use of these shared facilities.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests and is offered on a fully catered basis (daily breakfast, afternoon tea & 4 x evening dinner service) with complimentary wines and taxi service on arrival/departure day for Zermatt train station.

On Xmas, New Year, February Half Term and Easter weeks, the fully catered package includes 6 x evening dinner service. Upgrades to 6 nights of evening meals may be possible on other weeks, please enquire.

The chalet may also be taken on a bed and breakfast basis with daily housekeeping.

On some weeks, the chalet can also be taken on a self catering basis without any staff services, please enquire.
