A gorgeous penthouse apartment sleeping 10 guests, Zermatt Lodge is luxurious, spacious, full of character, and boasts those all important Matterhorn views that make a holiday to Zermatt that little bit special.
The heart of Zermatt Lodge is the open-plan living space. Dominated by the central log burner, and it's surrounding seating, there are few ski chalets that boast such a fantastic space to enjoy a few post-ski drinks and evenings all together. The room has quite distinct, yet linked zones, from comfy seating areas for relaxing, to the dining space and open-plan kitchen. It's clear that every detail has been considered here; traditional styling is paired with a modern finish and contemporary touches.
Whether you choose to cook for yourself, or rent Zermatt Lodge on a fully-catered basis, there's everything required here to create delicious meals for the whole group to dive into. Both the living and dining space boast a south-facing wall of windows, with views across the snow-capped roofs of the village and onto the Matterhorn peak beyond. Both spaces enjoy the full length balcony that spans the south-side of the building.
At the end of a long day exploring the pistes around Zermatt, this penthouse apartment features the wellness facilities required to soothe tired ski-legs, and enjoy some relaxation in the mountains. There's a sauna, and the covered hot tub maximises those fabulous views.
Zermatt Lodge has five en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests. The master bedroom is a generous space with a super-king bed, its own log-burner, access onto the covered balcony where the hot tub lives, and a large open plan bathroom. This en-suite has a big bathtub, and also a separate shower room with WC. The four further bedrooms are also of a good size, and sit to the rear of the property. Each has access to a shared balcony and boasts a lovely en-suite bath or shower room. These bedrooms can be configured as either a double or a twin, for added flexibility, making Zermatt Lodge great for family ski holidays, corporate trips, or groups of friends looking for a ski break in Switzerland.
Price is based on exclusive use of the chalet to include full gourmet catering with open bar.
