The position of “Ski Travel and PR Specialist” is based in our office in Bournemouth. A diverse role focusing around luxury ski holiday sales, with the added diversity building press relations and generating further publicity through luxury lifestyle channels and media.

Ski Travel and PR Specialist

The job role entails, but is not limited to, the following:

• Deal with incoming email and telephone enquiries from clients seeking luxury ski holidays.
→ Put together a brief and list of requirements, then search for relevant holiday solutions that fulfil the criteria.
→ Guide the client through our booking processes.
→ Client Management: Follow up with the client both before and after their stay to build relationships with client and encourage customer retention.

• Build on press relations and encourage PR throughout all channels. Establish new contacts with press multi nationally in order to gain exposure through high quality publications, magazines, luxury websites, and television exposure.

• Deal with all media requests for material, content and high resolution photography for our portfolio of properties, and maintain the relationships for future potential publications.

• Creative writing in production of regular blog posts across all websites. Produce exciting and interesting reading material to increase traffic through the website and company following.

• Updates and maintenance of Ski In Luxury and Ultimate Luxury Chalets websites.
→ Price uploads and availability updates
→ Resort descriptions and images
→ Chalet updates and new property loadings
→ Indentifying new properties suitable for enhancing the portfolio
→ Managing website content, checking for accuracy and maintaining correct information

• Attend Trade Shows, FAM trips, travel shows and travel markets, in order to source new product and to assess quality of existing portfolio, ensuring standards are maintained. Promote the business and also sell holidays face to face.

• Liaise with owners and operators, maintaining good relationships and keeping up to speed with all property developments and changes.

• Assist when required with the generation of monthly newsletters created, to encompass all websites dependent on season. Provide content, ideas, and promote exclusive and special offers. Currently created and sent through web team. Content to be approved and discussed with directors.

• Provide holiday cover to directors and other members of the team, coping with additional responsibilities when required.

• Attend regular meetings with directors to discuss performance, strategies and developments.

• Assist with Villas In Luxury developments, enquiries and product. Increase understanding of the product in order to provide flexibility in your role within the company.
