This coming season, the luxury Chalet Chalet Cerf Rouge in Meribel will take luxury cuisine to a whole new level. For 3 weeks at the end of March and beginning of April, Adam Byatt of Trinity’s Restaurant in London will bring a Taste of his Michelin starred Trinity Restaurant to the Alps as he brings his restaurant’s concept to a luxury catered chalet in Meribel.
Trinity is one of London’s leading Michelin Star restaurants. Based in Clapham Old Town, the restaurant was recently awarded a Michelin Star.
In the chalet, Adam Byatt will hand over the reins to his long-term sous chef, Chris Bolan. Chris will offer the superlative cuisine from the comfort and luxury of Chalet Cerf Rouge, hundreds of miles away from the usual restaurant setting in London. Chris will be joined by Trinity’s Assistant Restaurant Manager and together they will combine to deliver the 5* cuisine that they have rightly become widely recognised for. The daily breakfast, afternoon tea and five-course evening meals will all be taken to a new level by Bolan’s gourmet cuisine and you can even expect a guest appearances from Adam Byatt himself.
Known for his serious commitment to contemporary British cuisine, Adam Byatt is one of London’s most exciting chef restaurateurs. Adam Byatt was raised in a cooking home; his mother was a professionally trained chef and his grandfather was a cook in the army. Now, with three critically acclaimed restaurants under his belt, it’s clear that an early exposure to a passion for food has had its impact.
First leaving home at the age of sixteen to embark on his culinary career, Adam completed a coveted apprenticeship at Claridge’s before moving on to work with Phil Howard at The Square, Mayfair’s iconic 2 Michelin-starred restaurant.
Adam first introduced his seasonal, sustainable philosophy with the opening of Thyme in 2004. Having achieved both local and critical success with his first owned restaurant, he returned to Clapham Old Town with Trinity in 2006. Following from the success of Trinity, Adam opened Bistro Union in 2011, and oversaw the hugely successful launch of his newest venture, Upstairs at Trinity, a recent recipient of a Bib Gourmand Award.
Trinity now holds a coveted Michelin Star as well as three AA rosettes and numerous other accolades. Voted in the top ten restaurants in London by both Hardens and Zagat, it has also been included in The Times’ Top 100 Restaurants in the UK. Adam was recently named Imbibe’s Restaurant Personality of The Year 2017 in recognition of his impact on the London dining scene as well as his commitment to passing on his culinary knowledge to future generations of young chefs.
Chalet Cerf Rouge is an elegant luxury chalet in Meribel Village. The chalet has been finished to the high standards and the living area feel spacious and welcoming. The large picture windows let in an abundance of light and magnify the views over the Meribel valley beyond. After a day of skiing, the chalet has an inviting hot tub from where you can enjoy a glass of chilled wine before Chris serves up your delicious gourmet evening meal.
The chalet is just 350m from the Golf Chairlift which takes you straight up into the heart of the 3 Valleys ski area.
